Understanding The Composition Of The Fabric

Natural fibers

Cotton: a vegetable fiber from the cotton plant. The cotton fabric is strong and durable, even stronger when wet. Weight and texture can be modified to provide in dinghy sailing or corduroy, chintz or cotton satin. Diamonds can be added to improve the appearance and resistance to fouling. Fiber takes color and good quality cotton fabrics to be dyed and can be given different finishes, iron minimum, wrinkles, stains or shrink.

Flax: The plant fiber flax plant. Linen is strong, tough and strong when wet, but subject to mildew if stored in humid conditions. Crease finishes are now commonly added to overcome a strong tendency to wrinkle easily.

Silk fabrics are strong, durable and resistant to wrinkles, but can be weakened by the sun. Its brightness is unique and displays vivid colors and subtle in a clear and good. The colors cannot be fast and dry cleaning often specified.

Wool fiber layers of sheep or goats. Wool fabric is a good insulator and absorbing, but may decrease and is susceptible to attack by moths. To reduce these trends, you can pre-shrunk or treated to reduce drag, and you can also do the moth and stain resistant.

Made man and man-made fibers

The nylon fabric is heat sensitive, absorbent, and weaker when wet could be reduced. Personally, acetate is not very durable, but it offers good draping qualities and is used to satins and brocades.

Acrylic: The basic ingredients include one or more of oil, coal, oil, natural gas, water, limestone. Acrylic fabric has the softness and warmth of wool, but a little bit, so they retain their shape. They are durable and moth, but sensitive to heat.

Modal: cement, cellulose fiber made from wood or cotton waste, used in alloys, and change the properties of mixtures of natural and synthetic fibers.

Nylon fiber synthesized from petroleum, used in a variety of tissue types. Nylon fabrics are wrinkle-free and strong, low power, heat-sensitive and can fade or discolor in the sun.
